I have been slowly developing a distinctive style on my products for the DMSGuild that I feel increasingly confident about. Recently, I was lucky enough to stumble across a style of map-drawing that I think just might increase my overall productivity. Its an older, throw-back style that I’ve seen on a few other blogs and products that I decided to try out for myself.
I thought I would share one of my first attempts at it this week. It’s really a fairly straightforward style of line-art that I find greatly appeals to me, both for its simplicity but also for its geometric focus. The style is essentially an accumulation of lines, much like Islamic art; one of my favorite styles.
Since this first attempt I’ve been developing more using this particular form, and hope to add them either on this blog or on other products for the Guild. Feel free to use any of my maps you find on this site for any means you like: with or without attribution.
